Compagnie Energie Electrique du Togo (CEET) Project

  • Objective

The project aimed to strengthen Togo’s electrical infrastructure by supplying high-quality 9 MTRS and 12 MTRS transmission poles. The focus was on ensuring durable, reliable, and efficient power distribution systems.

  • animation-w4Challenges

This project involved the production of 5970 transmission poles with special design requirements and compliance with approved drawings and technical data sheets (TDS). The poles needed to pass rigorous type testing, process inspections by client QC engineers, and final inspections by engineers from CEET and BVQ. Tight deadlines added complexity to the production and delivery process.

  • Solutions

Utkarsh India produced the transmission poles at both its Jangalpur and Gurap production units, adhering to the highest quality standards. Key actions included:

    • Designing poles that complied with the client’s specifications and international standards.
    • Conducting comprehensive process inspections and type testing to ensure performance.
    • Coordinating production across two facilities to meet tight deadlines.
    • Delivering the materials on time, ensuring all client requirements were met.
The project’s success was validated through final inspections conducted by CEET and BVQ engineers. A performance certificate was issued, reflecting the client’s satisfaction with the quality and timely completion.
