PWD Kerala Project
-
Objective
To enhance safety for fishermen along Kerala’s coastal areas, this project focused on supplying 8 MTRS solar high masts and 8 MTRS solar octagonal poles to prevent boat accidents and improve visibility near the sea shore.
-
Challenges
The poles and masts were to be installed along the sea shore, necessitating designs that could withstand high wind pressures and harsh sea climates. The structural stability and durability of the products were paramount. Additional challenges included obtaining design approval from the authority engineers and meeting tight delivery schedules.
-
Solutions
Utkarsh India designed and produced 100 solar high masts and octagonal poles tailored to the project’s requirements. Key measures included:
- Developing a product design that considered wind pressure and was approved by the authority engineers.
- Producing the materials within the stipulated timeline, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Coordinating logistics to deliver the materials to the installation site (Cochin) on time.
- Overseeing installation and ensuring successful site inspections post-installation.
- The PWD Kerala authority expressed satisfaction with the product’s performance and indicated plans to replicate this solution in other fishing areas of Kerala.
-
Conclution
Utkarsh India’s innovative design and timely execution of 100 solar high masts and poles significantly improved safety for Kerala’s fishermen. By delivering durable, high-quality solutions tailored to challenging environmental conditions, we reinforced our commitment to infrastructure excellence and coastal safety.
