Revamped Distribution Scheme – Meghalaya (MePDCL)

    The project aimed to strengthen the electricity distribution network in Meghalaya by supplying Steel Tubular Poles under the Revamped Distribution Sector (RDS) Scheme for Meghalaya Power Distribution Corporation Limited (MePDCL). These poles played a critical role in improving the state's energy infrastructure.

    • Strict delivery timelines, requiring the supply of 12,873 Steel Tubular Poles within 21 days to support Meghalaya’s electrification drive.
    • Ensuring compliance with technical specifications (410 SP14, 410 SP39, 410 SP60, 410 SP66) while maintaining the highest quality standards.
    • Logistics and transportation challenges, ensuring timely delivery, quality assurance, and Material Test Certificates (MTC) along with the vehicle for seamless project execution.

    Utkarsh India successfully addressed these challenges by:

    • Precision Manufacturing: Utilised swaging processes to produce 8m, 9.5m, and 12m Steel Tubular Poles, ensuring strict compliance with MePDCL’s specifications.
    • Optimized Logistics: Coordinated efficient production and dispatch planning to meet the 21-day delivery deadline effectively.
    • Rigorous Quality Control: Conducted multi-stage quality checks, ensuring that all poles met industry standards before delivery.
